Syracuse Health Stories Forum

No matter where you are from or what your background, the current health system—driven by greed—hurts all of us. It is especially harmful to marginalized communities: people of color, women, immigrants, LGBTQ people, and rural populations.

Join a community forum to hear from community advocates about why they are committed to fighting for healthcare justice and a system that puts patients before profits. At this participatory community event, attendees will learn about efforts to win universal, guaranteed healthcare and about ways to part of the movement for the right to healthcare for all. Attendees will also gain an understanding of why the fight for universal healthcare must center disability rights and racial justice.

Cosponsored by Campaign for New York Health, ARISE Independent Living Council, Workers’ Center of Central New York, Doula 4 a Queen, Physicians for a National Health Program NY Metro, Students for a National Health Program, and the Occupational Health Clinical Center.
