Syracuse Women’s March and Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York are organizing a march and rally on October 2 ahead of the U.S. Supreme Court’s reconvening on October 4 to protect abortion. The goal is to send a message to the country and to the U.S. Supreme Court that abortion is essential health care, and the criminalization and policing of abortion, abortion providers and pregnant people’s choices is unacceptable.
The New York Health Act will guarantee access to abortion and reproductive healthcare to everyone in our state.

We ask that all volunteers and march participants be vaccinated and reduce risks by wearing a mask.
Parking and march instructions:
- Start of march at Planned Parenthood: parking is available in the Planned Parenthood parking lot and at University United Methodist Church. Street parking is available on E. Fayette Street and Genesee Street.
- For the rally at the Federal Building: street parking available on S. Clinton Street and in nearby downtown parking lots. Fees may apply. Please note there is limited parking downtown due to construction.
