Organizing a Multi-Racial Movement for the NY Health Act (Part 1)

To win universal healthcare, we need a broad and diverse movement that includes the leadership of those most impacted by the inequities of the current system. This training is primarily designed for white (European-American) activists who will be building alliances with individuals and organizations in communities of color. The training will be led by Rosemary Rivera, Director of Organizing and Training for Citizen Action of New York. Rosemary will prepare participants to build the multi-racial movement we need to win healthcare for all.

Part 2 for this training, The NY Health Act and Structural Racism, is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22 at 8pm. More details coming soon.

Once you RSVP, you will receive details for joining the Zoom meeting and suggested readings to prepare for the training.
