"Health Care for All: How It Works and How We Can Win" Featuring Dr. Oli Fein, M.D.

Universal health care is an idea whose time has come. An unprecedented number of candidates are running on Medicare for All and the New York Health Act. Two studies released this summer confirm that universal single-payer health care will reduce healthcare spending while guaranteeing care. And each day, more people are realizing that a healthcare system organized around profits is morally bankrupt.

On Thursday, September 27 at the Tompkins County Public Library join the Fingerlakes Campaign for NY Health for a discussion featuring Dr. Oliver Fein, M.D., President of Physicians for a National Health Program NY Metro and practicing internist from Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Fein will discuss how the New York Health Act will guarantee comprehensive healthcare coverage for all New Yorkers and how grassroots activists can be part of growing a local and regional movement for healthcare for all.
