Housing Justice for All, the Campaign for NY Health and the Justice Roadmap coalitions are coming together to demand NYS legislators pass the Compassionate New York package of bills to respond to this public health crisis — and all that existed before it — with compassion and with sustainable solutions that meet the needs of New Yorkers, instead of profiteers and corporations.
Our Compassionate New York agenda outlines immediate actions the state legislature can take to save lives and billions of dollars:
- Guarantee healthcare for every New Yorker (New York Health Act)
- Stop unjust evictions (Good Cause Eviction)
- Decarcerate our state (Justice Roadmap)
A more compassionate state is both morally right and fiscally responsible.
