Support for universal, single-payer healthcare continues to grow. Talking to people one-on-one about how the New York Health Act and Medicare for All is proven to be the most effective method to grow support for these policies. That's why we will be canvassing door to door to have conversations about how people in our community will benefit from winning single-payer healthcare. 

Before beginning door-knocking, we will begin with a training that has been developed by organizers with National Nurses United to prepare us to have meaningful one-on-one conversations about the NY Health Act and Medicare for All. Then, in pairs, we will canvass door to door to talk with community members to hear their opinions about the healthcare sytem and invite them to support the New York Health Act.  

Door knocking is a fun and easy (thanks to the training materials from our friends at NNU) and an essential tactic for getting the word out about the NY Health Act and Medicare for All. Please join us! To transform the healthcare system for all of us, we need everyone! Everybody in, nobody out!
