Business owners and freelancers especially encouraged to attend.
Wheelchair accessible.
Gender-neutral facilities available.

Saturday October 27th, 7pm-9pm (doors 645pm)

The New York Health Act would guarantee healthcare for every New York resident regardless of income, immigration, employment, health or other statuses.
It is comprehensive (i.e. includes dental, vision, mental health, prescriptions).
It also would save 98% of us money!

Martha Livingston, PH.D. Professor, is Chair of the Public Health Department at SUNY Old Westbury, and is Vice Chair of Physicians for a National Health Program - NY Metro Chapter. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Health Policy, a member of the Steering Committee of the Labor Campaign for Single Payer Health Care and a serious New York Mets fan. Dr. Livingston has researched and written on the Canadian healthcare system. She has advocated for national healthcare reform since 1992, and is an editor, with Mary E. O’Brien, M.D., of 10 Excellent Reasons for National Health Care, New York: The New Press, 2008.
