Campaign for NY Health Internships - Summer 2017
The Campaign for New York Health (CNYH) is committed to passing and implementing legislation for a universal, public healthcare system in New York State that would guarantee care to all New Yorkers. Interns with the Campaign for New York Health will have the opportunity to learn about New York State politics, legislative advocacy, and grassroots organizing. Interns should have strong written and oral communications skills and the ability to follow through on projects independently. Expertise in healthcare policy is not required. We especially welcome interns who are enthusiastic about the grassroots organizing aspect of legislative advocacy.
Interns will be supervised by the the Upstate Campaign Coordinator and evaluated on their level of responsibility in following through effectively on tasks, ability to work cooperatively with other, and role in the success of Campaign initiatives.
Hours can be flexible, varying between daytime and evenings, typically 8-12 hours per week. To apply, please send a resume and cover letter to [email protected] Intern selection process will include an interview. Internships are currently unpaid but can be used for academic credit.
