This last year has seen a massive surge in support and activism for guaranteed health care in New York State and nationally. Come to the Guelaguetza festival in Poughkeepsie to learn more, or to lend a hand with outreach. La Guelaguetza is a traditional Oaxacan (Mexico) festival of music and dance, which will take place on the Hudson River waterfront.

We will make sure people know about Medicare for All and universal single-payer healthcare, share why this issue is important to us, and ask them to support the New York Health Act. If you haven't done this before, we will give you all the info you need. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm for healthcare for all -- we'll supply the rest. 

To transform the healthcare system for all of us, we need everyone. 

Shifts will be about 2 hours, and you can enjoy the festival for as long as you want. Crowd Canvassing is a great way to enjoy summer festivals AND build the movement for healthcare for all!
