WESTCHESTER COUNTY LEGISLATURE VOTES ON THE NEW YORK HEALTH ACT

The Westchester County legislature is scheduled to vote on a resolution endorsing the New York Health Act on Monday, March 26th at 7PM.

We need you there to show your support! A successful vote in Westchester County endorsing truly universal health care in New York State will help inspire more actions across the state. 

The New York Health Act will: 

• cover all residents of New York for all medically necessary care including dental, vision, and mental healthcare 
• cost less—98% of New Yorkers will pay less for healthcare 
• end medical bankruptcies 
• end discrimination based on the type of insurance you have 
• allow nurses and doctors to spend time caring for the patients, not insurance company profits 

What: Westchester County Legislature Votes on the New York Health Act

When: Monday, March 26th 7PM (if you wish to testify, please arrive at 6:30PM)

This is your opportunity to speak out as to why universal health care is so important to you and your patients. Testimony is limited to two minutes.
