We have an opportunity to help build grassroots support for Healthcare for All in New York in a Statewide Day of Outreach.

We’ll be knocking on doors and having conversations with our neighbors to find out about their challenges in accessing healthcare. The canvass will take place around the Patchogue area, and we will meet at the Patchogue Arts Council Gallery to give out instructions and canvassing materials before heading out at 11:30. Please be punctual. A train arrives at Patchogue station at 10:49, which would be the ideal one to catch.

Rather than trying to persuade people to support Single Payer, we’ll be listening, guided by a 3 page, field-tested questionnaire. The materials we’ll be using are at http://www.nyhcampaign.org/canvassing (We’ll have copies for you.)
