KINGSTON COMMON COUNCIL VOTES ON THE NEW YORK HEALTH ACT

The Kingston Common Council is scheduled to vote on a resolution endorsing the New York Health Act on Tuesday, Oct 2nd @ 7:30PM.

We need you there to show your support! A successful vote in Kingston endorsing truly universal health care in New York State will Screen_Shot_2018-09-27_at_12.39.44_PM.pnghelp inspire more actions across the state. 

The New York Health Act will: 

• cover all residents of New York for all medically necessary care including dental, vision, and mental healthcare 
• cost less—98% of New Yorkers will pay less for healthcare 
• end medical bankruptcies 
• end discrimination based on the type of insurance you have 
• allow nurses and doctors to spend time caring for the patients, not insurance company profits

This is your opportunity to speak out as to why universal health care is so important to you and your patients. Testimony is limited to two minutes.
