Please Join us for an Informational Session
Sponsored by NW Bronx Indivisible and the Riverdale Temple WRJ
We have been reading about Trump’s plans to implode “Obama Care” so that it becomes the Unaffordable Care Act. But little is known about the New York State Health Act (NY Senate Bill 4840) which provides medical care for every New York State resident and is not only affordable, it is within our reach. The bill has passed the State Assembly by an overwhelming majority and is one vote short in the State Senate. Once we understand how it works, we can become advocates to our fellow citizens and to our representatives.
As with any major innovation, the devil is in the details. We have invited two expert speakers to discuss the ins and outs of the bill and to show how it is economically feasible. Come with your questions:
September 17th at 2 p.m.
The Library: Riverdale Temple,
