Support for universal, single-payer healthcare continues to grow. Conversations and sharing stories about experiences with the for-profit health system is proven to be the most effective method to grow support for New York Health and Medicare for All. That's why this Saturday we will be canvassing door to door to talk with people in our community about the healthcare system.

Before beginning door-knocking, we will begin with a training that has been developed by organizers with National Nurses United to prepare us to have meaningful one-on-one conversations about the NY Health Act and Medicare for All. Then, in pairs, we will canvass door-to-door to talk with community members, to hear about their experiences with the current healthcare system, to share our own experiences and to invite them to support the New York Health Act and Medicare for All.

Door knocking is a fun, easy, and an essential tactic for getting the word out about the NY Health Act and Medicare for All. Please join us! To transform the healthcare system for all of us, we need everyone! Everybody in, nobody out!
