Francis Rocco commented on Share Your Healthcare Story 2022-04-20 02:14:15 -0400I have worked all my life and am now retired and have to limit necessary health care consultations because of surprise additions and specialist fees. Plus tests that specialists run add up extras. So I’ve just canceled two appointments because the $7000 received for the specialist services doesn’t adequately cover the four visits I’ve made. My primary care doctor wants me to go to specialists because rightfully he wants to make sure I’m getting adequate care. But the small co-pays and associated tests that aren’t covered add up to.hundreds of dollars. This is ridiculous.
Also beware of health care in our prison system. I am suffering from conditions right now that were deliberately created and/or ignored because I am, let’s say, a democratic socialist and encountered political forces that would like to rid the world of dissenting voices. I am not being paranoid. I would be willing to share my identity and story regarding my.situation. THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE. Ultimate victory would be letting others know the truth about our broken, destructive systems and achieving superlative care for all.
