New York State has always been a leader in social reform. If the Congress is incapable of making Medicare for All a national program we must lead the way. Remember Tommy Douglas started Canada’s Medicare for All first in the Province of Saskatchewan. It was such a tremendous success it was adopted across Canada. Like the UK and Europe even the Conservative governments love it. It is time to act here and now.
