Please join the #PassNYHealth Digital Day of Action, Thursday November 18, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm to make sure lawmakers hear our demands loud, unified and clear. We are demanding that lawmakers prioritize passing the New York Health Act during the 2022 legislative session to help ensure an equitable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
New York is closer than any state to passing legislation to make guaranteed healthcare a right. Our opposition is also mobilizing to stop the Health Act and maintain the pay-or-die status quo. For lawmakers to have the courage to pass the bill, they need to see and hear the strong support that exists for universal healthcare across our state.
On Thursday, November 18, post from your personal and/or organizational handle, and amplify other #PassNYHealth posts to show solidarity. Please feel free to share your own priorities, and then use the shared messaging to uplift core #PassNYHealth messages. Make sure to use the hashtag #PassNYHealth so we can see your posts and reshare!
Lawmakers must make the NY Health Act a priority for the 2022 legislative session and election year. Our physical, mental and financial health depend on it.

*Share your healthcare story during
the Digital Day of Action!*
Stories are our most powerful tools to make the case for universal, single-payer healthcare. Social media – especially Twitter – gives us the power to publicly direct our stories and demands towards elected officials. Share in 280 characters or ~60-second video why universal healthcare matters to you: What healthcare experience radicalized you? What do we need? How would guaranteed healthcare change your life? Who are you fighting for?
Can’t join 11:00am-1:00pm? No problem! Posts, calls and emails anytime on Thursday 11/18 will make an impact!
