ROCKLAND COUNTY LEGISLATURE VOTES ON THE NEW YORK HEALTH ACT

ROCKLAND COUNTY LEGISLATURE VOTES ON THE NEW YORK HEALTH ACT

I'm writing to share with you a very important opportunity coming up next week.

The Rockland County legislature is scheduled to vote on a resolution endorsing the New York Health Act on Tuesday, December 5th at 7PM.

We need you there to show your support! A successful vote in Rockland County endorsing truly universal health care in New York State will help inspire more actions across the state.

The New York Health Act will:

• cover all residents of New York for all medically necessary care including dental, vision, and mental healthcare
• cost less—98% of New Yorkers will pay less for healthcare
• end medical bankruptcies
• end discrimination based on the type of insurance you have
• allow nurses and doctors to spend time caring for the patients, not insurance company profits
