Rev. Liz Theoharis has spent the past two decades organizing amongst the poor in the United States. She is the national co-chair of the Poor People's Campaign which calls for moral revival across the nation.

Liz will be speaking and doing a book signing at Hendrick's Chapel at Syracuse University on Wednesday, October 11 at 7pm. Join us to hear more about her work and the growing Poor People's Campaign!

In the Spring of 2018, the Campaign for New York Health will participate in the Poor People’s Campaign spring direct actions. The Poor People’s Campaign aims to build a broad and deep national moral movement rooted in the leadership of those most impacted by economic injustice. Through participation in the Poor People’s Campaign, we will connect health care with the other ongoing justice struggles and aim to deepen the leadership of those most affected by the disparities of the current system.
